Class Details:

These cooking classes are conveniently scheduled after school from 4:30pm to 6:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, & Wednesdays. The themes & items prepared vary from week to week. Most themes are tied into the theme that is currently being taught for that week of camp. 

But at the end of every session the kids get a chance to enjoy the fruit of their labor.  One thing you can count on is that they definitely have fun.  Students can use these sessions as credit towards earning their graduate program.

Tuition:    

Tuition is $45 per class. 
Packages of 4 sessions can be purchased.

COOKING CLASS

Time:

 Saturdays - 9:00 am to 11:00 am

Class Details:

Wanting to get in on the act?  There’s always room for you to join in on all the fun.   Two Saturdays each month we set aside a chance for our parent & kids to come learn some valuable skills, make delicious dishes and create together some lasting memories.

 
The themes & items prepared vary each month.  At the end of the morning every sits down together in the dining room & enjoys the wonderful creations

Tuition:    

Tuition is $65 per class for one parent & one child.

 Thursday evenings - 6:00 pm - 8:00 am

Whether you are looking for a special night out with your significant other, a girls night out or just treating yourself - we look foward to having you come over.

Most classes are held on Thursday evenings from 6 to 8pm.

Plan on having fun, eating well & learning something every time you come.

KID CHEF / TEEN CHEF GRADUATE PROGRAM

This four part graduate program is designed to give your child a well rounded education no matter what their previous level of experience. Within each series are four individual classes, 2 hours in length, that can be taken each week or separately as your schedule permits.  To make it more convenient, most classes in the series are held on the same day each week. The goal is that sometime within the year your child will have an opportunity to complete all four series and qualify for the graduate certificate and awards.

SERIES III -  Baking and Pastry Art

SERIES IV-   Everyday Etiquette

SERIES I - Every Day Cooking Fundamentals

The goal is to teach kids fundamental techniques needed to prepare a variety of basic meals.  Along the way we stress kitchen and food safety, knife skills and proper use of and care of cooking tools. 

 

Class 1 - Salad and Veggie Basics

Class 3 - Sautéing and Grilling


SERIES II - Healthy and Delicious Series

In this series we will explore how can we appreciate the value of what food offers.  What does healthy mean? How do we benefit? And how can we experience fresh, clean tastes that are better for us.

What is more satisfying than creating a delicious dish that looks beautiful and tastes incredible?  Desserts are the perfect food which lends itself to enjoying personally and sharing with others. Get ready to love this class!

SERIES IV - Every Day Etiquette
For parents who recognize the importance of their children's manners, this interactive class focuses on up-to-date social and communications skills which build self-esteem, self-respect, and respect for others. Not speaking with your mouth full, knowing how to act in a restaurant, how to properly answer the phone, what to say when you meet new people
